Erica A. Beaver, O.D. attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania in Lancaster County and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology/Pre-Optometry. While at Millersville ,she was enrolled in the 3+4 Pre-Optometry program which allowed her to complete her under graduate studies within three years and graduate following completion of her first year at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016 and graduated with highest honors as well as clinical excellence in primary eye care.
During her training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, Dr. Beaver rotated through many externships concentrating on ocular disease, emergent care, neuroophthalmic disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, glaucoma, and pre- and post- cataract and refractive surgery. She also received special training and is certified to fit orthokeratology contact lenses, which allows the cornea to be reshaped overnight to eliminate the use of corrective lenses during the day.
Dr. Beaver enjoys primary eye care with a special interest in corneal, conjunctival, and lenticular disease, having earned a certification for advanced studies in anterior segment in addition to her standard curriculum and clinical training.
